Lucknow: Lucknow Metro organized a 3-day Summer Ganjing Carnival between 14 to 16 June 2024. Around 40 stall vendors have set up their stalls at this mega carnival organized at Hazratganj Metro Station.
The vendors kept on display/sale of ‘Make in India’ indigenous items in various categories like handicrafts, bakery, home décor, ceramic plants, plants etc.
The closing ceremony of the Summer Carnival was celebrated with great fanfare at the Metro station today where a huge crowd of enthusiastic Metro passengers were seen buying handicraft products. Lucknow Metro has provided the facility of setting up stalls at metro stations. These exhibitions provide a platform to small and medium vendors. Lucknow Metro has organized 40 such events in the last one year where local talent got a platform to display their products. On the last days of the exhibition, music band performance was also organised. A music band group named – Sangaharsh sang heart touching bollywood songs which attracted a huge crowd at the Hazratganj Metro Station.
Lucknow Metro has also been organizing book fairs at Charbagh and Hazratganj Metro stations. The Being Book fair has been set up at Hazratganj Metro station since 3rd June and will continue till 15th July. The Bookflix Book Fair has also been organized at the Charbagh Metro Station from 5 June and it will continue till July 15, 2024.
